Highh What color should I wear heels with a gold-ish yellow dress to the party.?

I bought my dress for the dance, and I absolutely love it. It is gold-ish " yellow with a little bow on the front of it. It is strapless and surprising. The only problem is I have no idea what color shoes you should wear with it. I wearing high heels, and I defiantly do not want to wear those shoes that people of color to look like her dress. Can anyone help? Thank you.
