replacement of the strings of my acoustic guitar to help my playing?
I have an Oscar Schmidt by Washburn, not really a Very Good guitar. but is most of the strings, have a little rust in certain spots and are very rough on the hands, and are very hard to push effectively without getting a buzz.if I get new strings, probabaly coated, which is to help my problems? Ive played guitars are nicer and much easier to play.
What you to do is replace them with light gauge strings. That will be easier on the fingers to start. Also, when I start seeing rust on the strings, we can say security are held and presumed dead sound, that does not do justice to the guitar. Get 010 light gauge. D'Addario is a good brand and the guitar will have a life new and better sound with new strings. I recommend not covered because they are usually for electric guitar. I imagine that the Washburn is an acoustic guitar.
