How often should I refill my parakeet (Budgie) food tray?

Well, I received my paraket and his name is Skyler. He is blue and white brilliant. I wonder if I should fill the tray of food to new food every day or every few days or whatever. Please help Thnx, Skyler the Budgie (lol)

Every day. More than a parakeet died because a new owner thought he had food on his plate, but all I had was seed hulls.
