Why is my handwriting better with Gel Pen but bad with Ball Pen?
I have this issue as well. Regular Ballpoint Pens, like bics, slow down my writing and usually make it harder to read. If I’m writing slowly, a ballpoint pen is fine.
The pen I tend to use now is a rollerball, Pilot Precise V5, not a gel pen, but my writing tends to be more legible with that when I write quickly.
Unless there’s a reason you have to use a basic ballpoint, just keep a pen on you that you can write well with and it shouldn’t be a problem.
