Pigma Pen vs. Sharpie Fine Point?
I am going to make a keepsake/care label for a baby quilt, and am wondering if the Pigma pens are really better than Sharpies, for that use. Thanks
This is to use on fabric, either satin or cotton.
Get a pen specifically made for writing on fabric. Some need to be heat set before washing – test them first by writing on the fabric, ironing it, then washing it. To make it easier to write on fabric, iron it to freezer paper first. This will keep the fabric from wrinkling and sliding around as you write. Sharpies bleed when you write on fabric, making your label sloppy and blurry looking.
