Vauxhall astra mp3 compatible?

i am buying a 06 plate astra sxi and on the parkers guide it says it should be mp3 compatible.
is it quite simple to do?
or is it best if i just use my fm thingy that i have for my car now?
any advice would be great thanks!
didnt notice a socket where i could plug my i pod in i am sure the sales guy would have mentioned it otherwise. ok well thanks i know to keep my adaptor i got now.

I believe this means that there is either a socket to plug an mp3 player in and/or it will play CDs with mp3 tracks on them
