How I can fix "delay" in the GDR? I have a plasma TV screen new (Brand: Insignia)?

A few weeks ago, so I have a plasma screen TV is a brand new logo. I went to go play DDR now and I think there is a gap between my DDR mat and display. I have the Dance Dance Revolution Super Nova. I went from receiving double A in things that are not halfway through a song (I think I had a heart attack the first time). I went to look in the game options and there is nothing about the collaboration of the screen and dance mat. Anyone know how to fix?

This is usually a problem no TV, or game console. What usually happens is that television has more time to perfect the image so it looks great on the screen.
