How do you give a gold trim to rune armor in runescape?

Say, i have plain rune full set(platebody, legs, helmet,shield). How can I turn it into a rune set(g) (or gold trimmed)? Oh, and also how do you give it a plain trim? 10 points awarded to best answer! Thanks.
