If your muscles are sore from several days of skiing, the Vail Mountain Lodge also has a spa with a salon, massages, and custom packages designed for you. Vail Mountain Lodge has great views of Vail Mountain, which consists of 7 bowls divided into 3 skiing areas. The Front Side offers great skiing for the beginning skier. The Blue Sky Basin offers great slopes for the intermediate skier. The Back Bowls offer skiing for the advanced skier. You can get a shuttle to take you from the lodge to the mountain, along with your skis, and then pick you up afterward.
Be sure to take a day off of skiing at Vail and head to some of the nearby towns that dot the map on or near the I-70. Check out Antlers restaurants, Snowmass Mountain in Snowmass or Aspen Colorado, eat some Snowmass Chili, take a Snowmass Mountain photo, and head back to the Vail Mountain Lodge for an evening of dining and shopping.
