Correction Tape

Correction Tape
Why can correction fluid/tip-ex/twink and correction tape not be used in exams?

I would like to know why not.
this is because i used it in an exam and i may lose
a mark because of it and therefore i think it
is unfair. so please tell me why someone made such a rule and
your source if possible

I really don’t know…..but I agree with you it is stooooooooooopid!!

Edit:

The Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) and University of
Cambridge International Examinations (CIE) have advised candidates not to use
correction fluid in the national examinations because we have found instances in
examinations scripts where the use of correction fluid had affected the legibility of
scripts. There were also instances where answers had been left incomplete after
correction fluid had been applied
